This is an immersive, binaural recording; headphones highly recommended. We've been working on this track for over a year in remembrance of an old friend. It's an attempt to paint a musical portrait of timelessness. An impossibility. The Romans called it the Elysian Fields. The Tibetans called it Bardo Thödol, the intermediate or transitional states between death and rebirth. The movie Arrival suggested that the ability to experience this state could be communicated by a non verbal language. The Red Forest represents a primeval ground of being where there is no before or after, and all is present, freed from the tyranny of time.
